Steve Luongo is an American drummer who has performed, produced or recorded with some of the biggest names in the music business including John Entwistle-The Who, Leslie West-Mountain, Eddie Money, Jack Bruce-Cream, Billy Squier, Brian Johnson & Cliff Williams-AC/DC, Robin Zander-Cheap Trick, Rat Race Choir, Mark Farner-Grand Funk Railroad, Rickie Blackmore-Rainbow, Todd Rundgren, Ann Wilson-Heart, Joe Walsh-Eagles, Don Felder-Eagles, David Pack-Ambrosia, Alan Parsons, Dicky Betts-Allman Brothers, Michael Bolton, Buck Dharma-Blue Oyster Cult and many more. The entertainment industry is like one big private club for members only. How do you become a card-carrying member of the entertainment elite? By devoting your life to your craft. If you‘re a member it is usually for life and when you meet up with one of your ”brothers/sisters” in the business it becomes a celebration. The conversations that transpire between industry pros are guarded and rarely take place in public. These conversations happen backstage, in a dressing room, green room, hotel lobby or on a tour bus. The shop talk conversation between two musicians is considerably different than the meet & greet chatter musicians have with fans. A chat with family and friends is usually about anything but ”The BIZ”. Rock & Roll Show ‘n‘ Tell makes you a fly on the dressing room wall as longtime professional friends or respected peers reconnect spontaneously. ”It‘s like being backstage at Madison Square Garden.”

Steve Luongo's Rock & Roll Show 'n' Tell-aka-The No Gloom Ballroom is a fan supported Rock & Roll livestream program. Real rock talk with real rockers. This episode features a song called hard time that I wrote back in the 90s and re-purposed several times until it wound up on the torque 103,103 record in its final form. This episode demonstrates how many versions of a song can exist before you land on the final version. It's almost like doing covers of your own song in different styles. I hope you enjoy the process.
